Sean Ryan

1. What is your name?
Sean Ryan.
2. Where were you born?
Hertfordshire.
3. What makes you laugh?
My two children, high quality sarcasm, good stand up comics, Mike's reaction when I suggest he needs an admin assistant.
4. What makes you cry?
My two children, low quality sarcasm, bad stand up comics, Mike's reaction when I suggest he needs an admin assistant. Also anything remotely emotional in films.

Living in a world with priorities that are out of whack... and feeling drawn to play along.

7. Why did you get involved in the2:67project?
It was a privilege for my wife and I to be a sounding boards for Mike when he first considered the idea of meeting the needs of youthworkers, and their youth, in the St. Albans area. Everything he said felt right and as a friend and as a youthworker I wanted to support Mike as he left his secure job and started this exciting and groundbreaking venture."
8. What excites you about the work of the2:67project?
It helps teach youthworkers to fish, give them life long skills, new ways of working, enthusiasm... and in turn helps give young people safe spaces, meaning, purpose, truth, releases them with confidence and courage to be the people they were meant to be.

8. What excites you about the work of the2:67project?
The way in which I have seen the scope, influence and potential of the project expand almost exponentially since its inception, and what this implies God has in store for us in the future.

7. Why did you get involved in the2:67project?
I became aware that there was a vacancy, and having known of 267 from its inception, and then through my children benefitting from its activities, I was very keen to help if I could. I have always been impressed with Mikey, and it was clear he had all the right skills for this important work. To be able to contribute to this, was a chance I could not miss!
8. What excites you about the work of the2:67project?
It is fantastic to have an organisation focused on helping young people's lives to be transformed through knowing God. The More cafes are a great (friendly, accepting and lively) place for young people to explore faith, in a relaxed and non-threatening environment. 267 reaches out to young people, talks to them where they are at, and speaks to them in their own language.

I wanted to get involved with a charity that focused on helping young people, had a spiritual angle and where I could get close to its 'front end'.
8. What excites you about the work of the2:67project?
Mike is uniquely inspirational and has drawn around him a talented team and the opportunities are limitless to touch young peoples' lives with his gifts and with God.

Jane Munroe

1. What is your name?
My name is Elizabeth Jane Munroe, which is very confusing because everyone knows me as Jane.
2. Where were you born?
I was born in Osterley in Middlesex which sounds quite posh, but is under the flight path of Heathrow Airport.
3. What makes you laugh?

Many things make me laugh-especially the other trustees, which makes being part of the project such fun. Most of our events and meetings resound with banter as we so frequently laugh with each other.
4. What makes you cry?
Many things also make me cry from Rachmaninov’s 2nd Piano Concerto, to ET, to Nigel Pargitter falling off the roof in the Archers and on a really bad day the Andrex Puppy!!!
5. What makes you angry?
I get angry when the needs of the most vulnerable in our society or the world get overlooked in favour of the materialistic interests of a few (although my husband said I also get angry when I am told what to do-hence the voice on my sat-nav is on mute!!!!)
6. What do you like doing when you are not working?
When I am not working I love being with my family, going to the theatre or live music gigs, being at More and on Weekends Away and socialising with friends of all ages. (In fact anything which helps me to avoid housework)
7. Why did you get involved in the2:67project?
Getting involved with the 2:67 project was a direct calling from God. Whilst at an informal meeting at St Luke’s Bricket Wood with Mike (who at the time was the St Luke’s Youth worker) the Holy Spirit fell on me and I had a huge conviction to support Mike. At the time it seemed ridiculous as he could do Youth Work with both arms tied behind his back and both legs strapped together and did not need my support. However the conviction would not leave and as the plans unfolded for the project I realised that being involved with 2:67 is what God had in mind. God really does give us the desires of our hearts.
8. What excites you about the work of the2:67project?
Absolutely everything excites me about the project and as God unfolds and reveals more of what He has in store for the project-it just gets better and better. He has been so faithful since those early days that we know in a very real way that He will inspire the most exciting plans and meet every need to bring those plans to fruition. It is such a privilege to be involved in such a God breathed and sustained project which will further His Kingdom in the lives of so many young people.

Paul Townsend

1. What is your name?
Paul Townsend (no surprises there).
2. Where were you born?
Lincoln ('Lincolnshire yellow-belly' I still don't know what it means, but people say it).
3. What makes you laugh?
My brothers, and people saying random things out of context, I don't know why... it's just funny.
4. What makes you cry?
The film 'Silent Running' well, sad endings generally really.
5. What makes you angry?
Bullying, and people who cant control their temper - children in grown-up bodies!
6. What do you like doing when you are not working?
I like 'thinking' (radio-films-conversations, that sort of thing) and I love to play golf, because I can do a bit of thinking at the same time (it doesn't help my game though).
7. Why did you get involved in the2:67project?
I believe the 267 Project is a great way to support and encourage the Christian based youthwork that goes on in our area, and I know from experience how isolated and undervalued you can feel 'on the front line'. I became involved to see if I could support that work in some way, particularly in the area of communication.
8. What excites you about the work of the2:67project?
Connections. I see people being connected, and being energized by those connections. We are all connected 'in Christ' but to help make it feel a reality I think is big thing!
