We are relaunching Boom at St Luke’s, Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans

Boom is a new event for those in school years 3 - 6. Imagine a mash up of a holiday club, a weekend away and a party all together and squeezed into 5 hours on a Saturday afternoon

Boom will be packed full of games, fun, music, craft and stories about Jesus. We believe that Jesus is worth making noise about!

Come join us for Illuminate at St Albans Cathedral!

Apart from the wonder of hanging out in a 1000 year old place of prayer and worship, you can get involved in a whole bunch of different zones.

There will be an art zone, seminar space, silent disco, inflatable dodgeball arena, competitions, cafe, crazy golf, acoustic open-mic music space, quiet space and an interactive prayer area.

You may have heard Mike talk about the period of strategic reflection we have been going through at 267.

Almost certainly, you will be aware of the challenges of loneliness and anxiety and ‘sense of purpose’ which have increased alarmingly in the last few years for our young people (e.g. a recent 77% increase in NHS referrals for mental health issues of secondary school children).

We think this is one of our society’s greatest challenges right now.  We also know that 267 really really helps - by bringing youth leaders and young people together, to help build their sense of purpose and wellbeing.

We want to do more for our young people and youth leaders and we would like to share our vision with you for the next season, the next stage in our journey as a charity.

Please join us in person if you can, but feel free to join the zoom call if that is not possible.
